Lomography Diana F+ | Dumfries

I recently took a camping trip to Dumfries in the Scottish borders to celebrate my ever edging position to the big 30. Dumfries is a market town and former royal burgh within the Dumfries and Galloway council area of Scotland. It is near the mouth of the River Nith into the Solway Firth. I grabbed my Diana F+ and explored the scenery capturing its forests and vast rural landscapes through the Splitzer.

Since moving to Edinburgh I have visited various iconic land marks and the one which stands out the most has to be The Forth Bridge. It is a cantilever railway bridge which stretches across the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland. It was voted Scotland’s greatest man-made wonder in 2016 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you can see why! It stands as one the most remarkable pieces of architecture. With strong defined curves and its undoubtable powerful stance this remarkable structure holds beauty.

I recently took a camping trip to Dumfries in the Scottish borders to celebrate my ever edging position to the big 30. On my way to Dumfries I stopped off at Grey Mare’s Tail a 60-metre hanging valley waterfall near Moffat. The fall is produced by the Tail Burn flowing from Loch Skeen cascading into the Moffat Water in the lower valley below.

As I have mentioned before Instant photography has had a real resurgence over the last few years with a variety of new instant cameras coming to the market. The attraction with instant photography is that you are able to see your photographs appear in front of your eyes and each image is unique which can never be recreated again giving each photograph a really personal story.

Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. It is highly renowned for its thriving music and art scenes as well as its rich historic past which remains embedded across the city throughout its beautiful architecture. I celebrated my birthday in this incredibly charismatic city over a long weekend with my girlfriend back in February 2014.
